BP needed a complete chemical injection solution for its Mad Dog Phase II (Argos) Floating Production Unit. Due to budgetary constraints, the project continued to be put on hold.
The original budget for the project needed to be cut in half in order to give the project a green light.

Solution & Outcome

W-Industries was chosen to provide a solution for the project due to prior sucessful involvement with BP and three different EPCs. We were able to meet their budget target and the project was sanctioned. W- Industries provided a complete chemical injection solution for Mad Dog Phase II (Argos) Floating Production Unit. The work included the development and delivery of four packages; methanol injection, subsea chemical injection, seawater injection chemicals, and topside chemical injection skids.
Cut the budget in half, while not reducing any of the functional requirements:
We were able to cut the budget in half, while not reducing any of the functional requirements, or safety requirements our customer needed.
Facilitated ease of inspections and visits for all project contributors:
We were able to build the project in Houston, at a location where the project was managed, which facilitated inspections and visits for all project contributors.
