More than 35 years ago, Ron Wooten and John White founded W-Industries as a Compressor Control Panel shop. Today, our continued drive to cultivate the best team with a focus on innovation has made us a leader across the globe in establishing proven solutions for even the most challenging projects.
While much has changed in the business world since our founding, W-industries has always focused on creating lasting relationships. 1984 - W-Industries Founded
Ron Wooten and John White established W-Industries as a compressor control panel shop in a small Houston warehouse.
1992 - Opened Charles Rd. Facility as Corporate Headquarters
W-Industries expanded our engineering, fabrication, manufacturing and PLC control system capacity and capability with the opening of Charles Rd. facility.
2000 - Acquired by CSE Global, Ltd.
CSE, Global, LTD acquired W-Industries to provide global customers total integration service solutions. W-Industries becomes part of a global technology group publicly traded on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
2002 - Acquired Control Concepts & Technology
The acquisition of CCT further expanded W-Industries engineering systems integrator solution offerings, including design, engineering, assembly, programing, control and instrumentation system installation.
2007 - ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certified by DNV-GL
Achieving ISO 9001 certified the organization’s commitment to continually improve our operations and focus on the success of our customers.
2013 - Opened Petropark Facility
W-Industries expanded our engineering, heavy fabrication and package integration services at the Petropark Facility.
2015 - Opened Pecos, TX Field Office
Pecos facility was opened to provide instrumentation and electrical field services to West Texas shale operators.
2016 - Opened Pearsall, TX Field Office
Pearsall facility was opened to provide instrumentation and electrical field services to South Texas shale operators.
2016 - Acquired C.C. American Oilfield, LLC
The acquisition of CCA expanded W-Industries’ service offering to include design, manufacture, repair and ASME certification of pressure vessels for the energy industry.
2017 - Acquired Gulf Coast Power and Control of Louisiana, LLC
The acquisition of GCPC expanded W-Industries’ solution offering to include the design and manufacturing of hazardous location power distribution and control systems for the energy industry.
Intertek certification of W-Industries quality systems in compliance with the requirements of the ATEX Directive and the IECEx Scheme further expanded our service offerings to include ATEX and IECEx certified systems.
2018 - Established One-W Initiative
The One-W Initiative was developed to bring all W-Industries companies together through a formal, transformative initiative to operate as One-W in all facets of business.
2019 - Established Israel Entity
The establishment of our Israel entity strengthened the company’s long-term commitment to servicing the industry in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
2019 - Acquired Volta, LLC
The acquisition of Volta strengthened W-Industries’ offerings with the addition of low and medium voltage control centers, low and medium voltage switchgear, and integrated electrical equipment center supplier capabilities.
2020 - Established W-University
W-Industries is built on the foundation of our people. W-University was created to offer programs and courses that help grow careers and minds.
2020 - Opened Thora Lane Facility
The Thora Lane facility expanded our capabilities with a 22-acre complex that includes dedicated engineering, fabrication and manufacturing areas, as well as access to major logistic thoroughfares.
2020 - Establish W-Industries de Moçambique, LDA
W-Industries de Moçambique, LDA was established as part of our long-term commitment to the continued development of the Mozambique energy sector.
